Job Description
Yuwa India is seeking a full-time coaches’ mentor for more than 50 Yuwa coaches supporting more than 600 adolescent girls in the Ranchi district of Jharkhand. Initial hiring for a trial period of 6 months, with assessment at 6 months for permanent position. Yuwa is an internationally acclaimed non-governmental organization registered as an Indian Trust that uses football and education to help girls take control of their own futures. Yuwa is based in villages in the Ranchi district of Jharkhand, where girls are especially at risk of dropping out of school, early marriage, gender-related violence, and human trafficking. Through the creation of football teams, girls gain leadership skills and confidence, continue their education, and are less likely to be forced into child marriage.
