Job Summary We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Operations to oversee and manage the operations of our geotechnical consulting company. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction to the company, ensure operational excellence, and work closely with the executive team to achieve the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company’s operations, including project management, financial management, and quality control.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of technical and administrative staff, including project managers, engineers, and support staff.
- Monitor and track project progress to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services to clients.
- Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for business development and growth.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in service delivery.
- Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and performance metrics to ensure the company’s financial sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry associations.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a geotechnical consulting company or related field.
