Skill : 3D to 2D drafting

The candidate should have experience in steel plant, Water treatment plant .

Job Description :

l Creating detailed mechanical utility drawings for new or existing facilities, infrastructure, and equipment, including piping, HVAC systems, and process equipment.

l Collaborating with other departments, such as engineering, construction, and maintenance, to ensure accurate and complete drawings are produced.

l Ensuring that drawings are produced within the required timeframe and meet all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

l Conducting field surveys and site visits to gather necessary information for creating accurate drawings.

l Preparing and updating bills of materials and parts lists for mechanical systems and equipment.

l Maintaining a library of mechanical drawings and specifications for future reference.

l Reviewing and modifying existing drawings to improve accuracy, quality, and efficiency.

l Providing technical support to other departments as needed.

l To be considered for the role of Mechanical Utility Draftsman at a steel plant, a candidate should possess a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, along with strong drafting skills and experience with CAD software. The candidate should also have good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. In addition, knowledge of steel plant equipment and processes is desirable.
