Job Description :

As a Civil Draftsman using Tekla in a Steel Plant, your job responsibilities may include:

l Preparing detailed drawings: You will be responsible for preparing detailed civil drawings using Tekla software, which includes drawings for structural steel, reinforced concrete, and other civil works.

l Collaborating with engineers: You will be required to collaborate with engineers to interpret design specifications and prepare accurate and detailed drawings.

l Ensuring accuracy: You will be responsible for ensuring that all drawings are accurate and comply with design standards, codes, and regulations.

l Incorporating changes: You will be responsible for incorporating any changes or revisions to designs or drawings as requested by engineers.

l Creating 3D models: You will be required to create 3D models of civil structures, which will help in the visualization of the structures and identify any potential design issues.

l Checking drawings: You will be responsible for checking the drawings created by other draftsmen to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.

l Documentation: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of all drawings, revisions, and changes made to the design.

l Coordination: You will be required to coordinate with other departments such as production, quality control, and construction to ensure that the civil drawings are executed correctly and on time.

l Continuous improvement: You will be responsible for continuously improving your skills and knowledge of Tekla software to improve the quality and efficiency of your work.
