Land Procurement Officer – Job Description.

  •  Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities through detailed market research and analysis of demographic, zoning, and development trends.
  •  Negotiate purchase agreements with landowners, including terms, conditions, and pricing, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and budget constraints.
  •  Coordinate with legal counsel to perform due diligence activities, including title searches, environmental assessments, and land surveys, to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  •  Develop and maintain relationships with real estate brokers, developers, landowners, and other stakeholders to facilitate information exchange and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and engineers to assess land use, potential development concepts, and compliance with local regulations and zoning requirements.
  •  Present acquisition proposals and recommendations to senior management or investment committees, providing comprehensive risk assessments and strategic insights.
  •  Manage the transition of acquired properties to the development team, ensuring a smooth handover and alignment with project timelines and objectives.
