Scott Shorter PTY is Looking for: We are seeking an experienced Google Ads (and Bing) specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and reporting on Google Ads and Bing campaigns. Additionally, you will engage directly with clients, providing them with updates and insights on their campaigns. The role may also involve supporting tasks for our SEO Director, such as editing WordPress websites, implementing changes based on keyword research, and assisting with copywriting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Google Ads and Bing campaigns across various platforms, including search, display, and shopping.
  • Communicate directly with clients to understand their goals and provide regular updates on campaign performance.
  • Utilize Google Analytics, GA4, and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to track and analyze campaign data, optimizing performance based on insights.
  • Create compelling ad copy and CTAs for display ads, focusing on driving engagement and conversions.
  • Collaborate with the SEO Director to implement website changes based on keyword research and SEO best practices.
  • Assist with copywriting for landing pages and ads, ensuring messaging aligns with campaign objectives.
  • Design and implement split tests to improve landing page performance and overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Generate reports using Google Data Studio, summarizing key metrics and providing actionable recommendations for campaign optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance campaign performance.

Interview Round Process:

The first round contains questions to cover fundamental google ads concepts, understand the candidates experience and to understand the candidate’s communication skills.

The second interview will follow up with a more robust query of the candidate’s knowledge.

This Role Requires:

  • Minimum 4 years experience.
  • Google Ads & Bing Ads advertising experience, across search, display and and shopping
  • Google Ads certificationsare favourable but not necessary
  • Comfortable with client-facing reporting
  • Strong time management skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent email etiquette
  • Excellent written communication skills in English
  • Must have knowledge of GA4, GTM, WordPress
  • Experience devising display ads CTAs
  • Experience with Google Data Studio is preferred
  • Experience with landing page improvements and designing split tests
  • Assisting with copywriting for landing pages and ads
