Tygerella is Looking for: We are looking for a GIS Business/System Analyst. This individual will be able to analyze simple to complex business problems and provide solutions or options.The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Analysis, Upgradation, Migration, and Integration, Data Model Designing, Application Development, System Implementation, Database Administration Activities.

• Gather information, document and confirm with the users.
• Analyze the user/system requirements and design a solution.
• Explain the business rules to the developers and give guidance to developers.
• Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Performing user acceptance testing.
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Serves as a resource to Smallworld Configurators, and other developers in designing, programming and implementing a SmallWorld module that supports the company’s business and operational needs.
• Deep understanding of project and software development methodologies and processes and may assist in aligning the process with project needs.
• Maintains advanced knowledge of their assigned technical area in Smallworld environment
• Must be a team player able to work with management in developing and implementing new processes and enabling systems.
• Able to work with end user groups to define application needs and identify feasible solutions.
• Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and a customer-focused service attitude
• Strong analytical problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Good organizational skills, with the ability to meet objectives and effectively multi-task

This Role Requires:

• IT related qualification and equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on systems experience in Magik and with working experience in SmallWorld functional modules.
• Advanced technical skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• A track record of following through on commitments.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.
• A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
• Knowledge of systems and/or business analysis design concepts. Demonstrated proficiency in the applied use of systems and process analysis tools. Full system life cycle experience, including development lifecycle methodologies.
• Ability to facilitate interactive design and functional specification sessions.
• Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Excellent technical writing and system documentation skills.
