Full Stack Software Engineer

We are an early-stage HR Technology startup building AI-enabled platform for Enterprises to manage their compensation practices. We’re looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our technology team and help build innovative solutions that transform the employee experience.

We are an intelligent compensation planning platform built to run a Company’s annual compensation cycle in an automated way and deliver targeted compensation in an automated way. We create Compensation solutions for thousands of employees and business leaders. This solution will handle all phases of the annual compensation planning process from Budget creation, Calculating increases, Smart Analytics and Reporting to foster employee retention. As a Software Development Engineer, you will drive the development of services for an internal facing, global solution that will be used by hundreds of business leaders who strive to reward and retain their teams.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have 8-10 years of experience in Software Development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience demonstrating successful software development projects.
  • Strong grasp of back-end technologies like Node.js or similar
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies and modern frameworks/libraries like React etc.
  • Ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in Software Development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to quality and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient software components that power our AI-driven platform.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using best practices and industry standards.
  • Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software reliability and performance.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Contribute to architectural and design discussions, offering valuable insights and innovative ideas.
  • Take on QA responsibilities as needed, focusing on both manual and automated testing. Ensure the quality and reliability of our AI’s product releases.
  • This role demands a meticulous approach to testing, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering flawless products to our users.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, technology evaluation, and continuous improvement of our codebase and development processes.
  • Work closely with the rest of the team to deeply understand user needs and translate those insights into intuitive and seamless product experiences.
  • Build robust APIs, integrations with third-party systems (e.g. HRIS systems).

Direct-hire on the Deel payroll on behalf of Stello

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Remote

Working time: 1 PM to 10 PM IST

Interview Process – 4 rounds (initial screening, 2 technical rounds and final cultural fit)
