Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Front-end Developer proficient in React Native for iOS and Android development, as well as Next.js for web development. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating a 3-in-1 repository for building web, iOS, and Android simultaneously. Familiarity with UI templates, specifically Tamagui Takeout, and expertise in the Expo platform for mobile features integration are highly desirable. The candidate should possess strong collaboration and communication skills, alongside the ability to contribute innovative ideas for front-end enhancements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the back-end lead and other front-end developers to continue the development of the company’s web, iOS, and Android app.
• Utilize expertise in React Native and Next.js to maintain and enhance app functionality across multiple platforms.
• Implement UI templates such as Tamagui Takeout for consistent and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Build and maintain a mono-repository for efficient simultaneous development of web, iOS, and Android applications.
• Provide creative ideas and suggestions for front-end improvements, contributing to the overall enhancement of the app’s user experience.
• Actively participate in the decision-making process regarding technology stack, architecture, and feature implementation.

Uplers / Talent Agreement – Full Time Contract for 6 months

This Role Requires:

Skills Needed:

• Proficiency in React Native for iOS and Android development.
• Proficiency in Next.js for web development.
• Experience creating a 3-in-1 repository that builds web, iOS, and Android simultaneously.
• Experience with UI templates, specifically Tamagui Takeout, preferred.
• Familiarity with Expo platform for mobile features integration preferred; alternative solutions considered.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Please note:

• Candidate must understand how to build mono-repository to build web, iOS, and Android in single repo
• Direct experience with UI library “Tamagui Takeout” is preferred but not necessary
• Experience with Expo platform is preferred to enable mobile features into apps. If candidate is not familiar, they should have a good alternative
