AlgoEd is Looking for:

Key Responsibilities:

• Educational video script writing
• A major task for this role will be to write engaging, conversational video content for our university admissions knowledge base
• Videos are typically 2-5 minute long to keep students engaged
• Blog content writing
• Another major task for this role will be to write engaging blog posts
• Platform knowledge base writing
• This is a secondary task. We will ask you to write some instructional content for our web app knowledge base. This will be really straightforward writing.

This Role Requires:

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced writer who can research and write engaging content (video scripts, blogs etc.) to join our small content creation team. No prior knowledge of US & UK university admissions is expected (we will teach you on the job).

General Requirements:

• An undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field
• Strong writing portfolio that displays ability to write engaging content
• We highly value candidates who can be proactive and take ownership of their own work

Key Skills:

• Ability to write highly engaging, succinct content which has real value
• Ability to pinpoint truly useful information to include in content

Soft Skills:

• Fluent in English
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong team player with the ability to work well in a group
