About Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Media Analytics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in SQL, Tableau, stakeholder management, and possess strong business acumen. The primary responsibility of the Manager, Media Analytics will be to lead our media analytics team in analyzing data to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and optimize media performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources to derive actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize and communicate analytical findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Lead stakeholder management efforts by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, priorities, and objectives.
  • Apply strong business acumen to translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations that drive media strategy and performance improvements.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality analytics solutions.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
  • Establish and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient and accurate data collection, processing, and storage.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in media analytics and technology to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 1 year of experience in media analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Expertise in Tableau for developing interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively communicate analytical findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining data pipelines for efficient data processing.
  • Prior experience in team management or leadership role is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years at a publisher, media agency or ad technology provider
  • Knowledge of Google Ad Manager (GAM) and its data. Knowledge of Campaign Manager 360, Display Video 360, Google Analytics would be ideal.
  • Familiarity with digital media platforms and advertising technologies.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with other data visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Domo.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling, segmentation, or machine learning.

Non-negotiable Skills:

  • Tableau is a non-negotiable for these roles.
  • Minimum 1-year experience of Media Analytics is non-negotiable.
