• Centre for Social Innovation (CSI): exists to nudge top talent to solve India’s biggest challenges

What are we solving for in the End Ultra Poverty program?

End Ultra Poverty (EUP) program is solving for households in ultra-poverty through a targeted, multi-faceted and sequenced model called the graduation approach which has demonstrated that ultra-poverty can be conquered.

At The/Nudge we have been piloting this program for the past 3 years and are in the process of catalyzing propagation of the same. Our purpose is to contribute to ending ultra-poverty in India. EUP will:

• continue to implement on its own to iterate the design for impact at scale

• enable more NGOs to adopt technical and capacity-building support

• enable govt to adopt by providing research, design, and implementation support

• continue to generate data on ultra-poverty and evidence on graduation approach to nudge governments to adopt at scale

• build technology solutions for NGOs and governments to adopt and implement at scale & with quality.

At The/Nudge you will:

• single point of accountability for tech product to enable implementation and monitoring of program in collaboration with the SRLM

• build and execute end-to-end tech product roadmap for End Ultra-Poverty

• facilitate MIS build-out for SRLMs as per their requirements

• build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to build the products

• analyze data and present reports of the product to internal and external stakeholders

• design SoPs for tech roll-out in collaboration with the government

• conduct market research to identify solutions, gaps in current solution and proactively iterate designs and product roadmaps

• be enthusiastic about travel to remote rural areas, meet with stakeholders and gather insights first hand

• identify opportunities to build tech-first solutions as well as tech solutions that are enablers to rural development programs

• support operations in adoption, take feedback and iterate products to improve performance of overall program

Apply if you have:

• Graduation and post-graduation

• 2-5 years of experience preferably in tech/MIS development

• Experience in working with government stakeholders

• Openness to travel and stay in state and designated districts/block/panchayat & as per the needs of the program’s goals

• Must have immense interest and knowledge in technology and applying its potential to create impact at scale

• Must have demonstrated growth mindset – learning continuously, improving, updating points of views & knowledge

• Must have demonstrated success in starting and leading initiatives

• Must have demonstrated ability to work under uncertainty, ability to articulate vision and secure buy-in from stakeholders

• Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills

• Written and spoken fluency in Hindi, English
