The Channel Development Manager is responsible for managing the sales and distribution of life insurance products through a network of independent agents. The JD holder will work closely with agents to help them grow their business, provide product training, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Look for clients and customers in more information about our goods and services.
- Recognize any problems or desires that the prospects may have.
- Convene with prospective clients .
- Before contacting leads, look into them and learn as much as you can about them.
- To ensure effectiveness, get advice from the sales and marketing staff.
- Determine the most crucial sales KPIs.
- When necessary, prepare and submit reports.
- Keep abreast on the most recent sales trends and best practices.
- To the management team, report.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in life insurance sales and distribution, with a focus on managing an agency channel.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with agents and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- In-depth knowledge of life insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software tools.
