Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical

Objectives/Purpose of the role

As the owner of Mechanical Maintenance of Air Separation Plant Equipment, to maximise the plant availability and minimize unplanned down time. Maintenance planning and execution.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Develop the integrated mechanical maintenance plan, in coordination with the suppliers and plant manager, specific to the plant configuration.
• Participate and lead the periodic and turn around shutdowns
• Actively coordinate with OEMs for required support
• Manage the capital and consumable spares. This includes an elaborate spares planning, budgeting, procurement and stock keeping
• Maintain the equipment history logs sheets
• Develop Standard Maintenance Procedures for regular maintenance activities
• Carry out the Root Cause Analysis any unplanned outage and take preventive actions
• Condition Monitoring of the equipment
• Manage the externally sourced service suppliers e.g., maintenance manpower etc
• Support the plant management in implementing the efficiency improvement projects
• Coordinate with Third Party competent persons to maintain required statutory compliances
• Responsible for Management-of-Change (MOC) Process for related work
• Ensure Zero Accidents- Zero Incidents in all maintenance activities

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Personal attributes

ESSENTIAL

Experienced in Cryogenic Air Separation Plant Maintenance

Hands on experience in carrying out the maintenance of rotating and static equipment

Experience in maintenance planning and execution

Good understanding of safe operation of the mechanical equipment (Air Compressor and Turbine, in particular)

Knowledgeable in the safety aspects related to Air Separation Process

DESIRABLE

Exposure predictive maintenance tools

Familiar with Process Improvement tools like Lean and Six Sigma, Kaizen, TQM

Skilled at using MS Office

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Educational Qualifications

ESSENTIAL

Diploma/B.Tech or B.E in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institute

DESIRABLE/PREFERRED

10-15 years of relevant experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹700,000.00 – ₹800,000.00 per year
