Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Specialist at Tata Steel UISL located in Jamshedpur. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting audits and inspections, implementing safety policies and procedures, and providing training and guidance to employees. They will also be responsible for investigating accidents and incidents, identifying potential hazards, and recommending corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in safety management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations
• Certification in occupational health and safety is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field
