Integrated Security Solutions for physical Security, Video Surveillance for Industrial use cases in operations monitoring, project progress monitoring, Safety, remote operations etc come with varied and vast array of technologies, systems and devices and have very high integration complexity. Hence, a dedicated team of IT professionals is required to understand the business requirements and to develop/implement/integrate these solutions.

The role also requires combining efforts with various teams in ITS, primarily End User Computing, Enterprise Computing, Networking, Safety and HR.

This team plays an important role in the Integrated Security Solution (ISS) & Video Surveillance Projects and across Tata Steel locations.

The IT infrastructure and systems setup through previous and current projects is supported and maintained by this team.

This team explores and facilitates continuous improvements in the implemented processes and regularly updates the technology and standards.

Additionally, implementation of Camera Surveillance and related technologies required by other departments for use in operational, project progress monitoring, Safety etc is looked into by this team.

Technical Support for Enterprise IT Network Infrastructure and communication services

Compliance to Technology Standards, Polices and Cyber Security Standards for Network & Communication Infra and related services

Defining and upgrading current technology standards

Central Management and support of IT Systems for Security (Integrated Security System (ISS), Access Control Enabler, Contractor Workmen Gate pass System, RFID & Biometric Enrollment and Card Printing System, Dual Authentication, Visitor Gate pass System, CCTV Surveillance Systems etc.)

Relevant work exposure with an organization delivering or managing IT Services in a role preferably in any of the following domains

• Experience in supporting and executing IT initiatives to support Industrial Security solutions, Video Surveillance, Access Control etc.
• Hands on experience with IP Cameras, CCTV cameras, Network Video Recorders, Video management Systems, Video Analytics
• Integration of Video Surveillance with PSIM or Command & Control Systems
• Experience in working with technologies for servers, storage (SAN/NAS/DAS), virtualization, networking, Video Wall , NTP Servers, Active Directory
• Site Survey, Design and Implementation of Indoor and Outdoor deployment of CCTV Cameras, Network,
• Knowledge of Electrical supply, UPS, Earthing, Lightning Arrestors etc for Video Surveillance deployments etc.
• Experience of monitoring IT development / maintenance work. Familiarity with Systems analysis & design concepts
• ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001 standards, TQM concepts preferable
• Proficient in Customer / Supplier / Partner Relationship, SLA Management, Helpdesk # incident & problem management, change and configuration management
• Experience in Evaluation of Technology and creating architecture/standards
