Role Description
- Mine design & development; Mineral reserve estimation for opencast & underground mines
- Ore, Overburden, Rejects and Tailing Handling System for long to medium term planning
- Short term Mine Planning (annual/quarterly/monthly)
- Preparation of the statutory mine plans, feasibility report & mine closure plans in compliance with all legal, statutory & environmental norms. Interface with IBM, State Govt, CMPDIL, CIMFR, MoC office as and when required.
- Evaluation of auction blocks & new prospects/projects
- Geotechnical Investigations: Alleviate potential risks and improve confidence levels for opencast and underground mines
- Financial modelling of the deposit for working out NPV
Skills
Proficient in softwares
For Metal : Surpac; Any mine scheduling software
For Coal : Minex; Any mine scheduling software
Proficient in GIS/CAD software
Other Details
B. Tech/B.E in Mining from a reputed institute and
Minimum 5 years’ experience in mine planning & field exposure.
