Responsible for governance & management of Technical Convergence across Tata Steel locations. Manage overall operations & administration of Command & Control centre. Integration of Standard Operating procedures with Technical Convergence for various eventualities. Planning, coordination & Implementation of Capacity building through diversified training curriculum. Perform Technical audit of Security process and administer process improvements based on the feedback and best practises from business partners& stakeholder. Lead total quality management initiatives of the security department.

Skills

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility of governance and management of technical convergence across Tata Steel Locations
• Provide actionable inputs culled from the Tech convergence systems to the security team
• Interact with delivery teams and collaborate with other support functions for the achievement of Company’s Security objectives.
• Coordinate with Security team on tech related matters
• Manage process improvement based on the feedback and best practices
• Front end requirement gathering, analysis and understanding of tech needs for security through identification of security risks
• Responsible for Transfer of Knowledge from the Tech team to Operations Team on need to know basis
• Conduct team reviews to track the operational status-Backend data, On-time resolution improvement and adherence to SLAs
• Custodian of the tech equipments installed in the Command Centre for Tech convergence
• Keep track of system (CCTV/ACS) health check.
• Coordination with IT and Project team
• Provide Tech support to address security audit requirements
• Conduct audits of security processes
• Coordinate with Security team for downtime and preventive maintenance events
• Ensure Corporate Security Command Centre response during crisis and response drills
• Extend support during investigations-Analysis of the incident and collation of evidence
• Monitoring and dissemination of breakdown of Law and Order situation/News Updates/Int inputs across the locations of Tata Steel.
• Publication of monthly dashboard

Capacity building

• Drive Capacity building initiatives across Tata Steel locations
• Identification of Training Need plan
• Preparation of ABP for Training
• Conduct of training and its audit
• Conduct of Workshop/brain storming session for Officers
• Spread security awareness for a safer workplace by conducting/organizing Women employee Security awareness program & Induction session for lateral entry
• Capacity and Integrity building of TSL Security Non Ops and outsourced security personnel across locations
• Nominate and recommend TSL officers for attending International Security Forum
• Design and circulation of advisories to employees

Improvement Initiatives

• Drive Improvement initiatives of the Security services SIP/SGA/KM/KSS & Suggestion Management
• Drive employee engagement initiatives
• Nominate and recommend TSL officers for External/International Security Forum
• Design, implement & integrate technical convergence with physical security for major events
• Uniformity in Security processes across Tata Steel Locations

Ensure compliance of ISO 9001-2015 Standards and closure of NCs/Observations

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate in any Discipline, (Preferably in any Engineering Discipline) Relevant experience
• Must have working experience in Security command control centre/Technical Convergence. Threshold skills and capabilities required to execute the role

Technical Competencies

Prior experience in working in Command & Control Centre of any reputed organisation
