Tata Steel Foundation Hiring for IT Officer (Enterprise Resource Planning) at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India

Purpose of the Role: Lead the ERP development of Tata Steel Foundation.

Key Deliverables:

• Design, development, commissioning, and post-commissioning support to software systems
• Troubleshooting software applications and ensuring help desk tickets are resolved as per agreed timelines.
• Periodic/as per requirement, vulnerability testing of applications and resolution
• Provide technical solutions according to established service levels.
• Identifying and assessing new technology solutions
• Co-ordinate and work with vendors for 3rd party applications
• Responsible for working on day-to-day customer queries related to IT applications.
• Working with cross-functional teams within the organization.
• Working with the Tata Steel IT team for group company application support and IT-related activities.
• Having experience in Daily Management, ensuring high system availability, handling of Change Requests, planning and executing of timely system upgrades/migrations and driving process improvement initiatives
• Explore modern technology and use it in application to provide benefits to communities.

Minimum Qualification: BE/BTech/Master’s degree in Computer Application or Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum No. of years of experience:

• 3+ years of working experience in programming skills like .NET or java and SQL for the design & and development of IT application projects
• 3+ Experience of handling databases like SQL servers or Oracle.
• Knowledge of working/requirements/interdependence of key functions.
• Functioning of major business & and design applications like ERP, PLM, Design tools, Analytical tools, etc., in an integrated environment.
• Designing, Implementing & and maintaining a robust MIS to support decision-makers at every level as appropriate.
• Updated on continually evolving productivity tools and deployed them across the organization as appropriate.
• Project Managing and driving implementation of major applications, Customisations, Version upgrades, and Migrations through cross-functional coordination.
• Planning & and executing IT road map for the company for the future.
• Planning & and executing data/infra / IP security of the organization.
• Familiar with license compliance / legal requirements & and ensuring 100% compliance.
• Handling AMCs / support from service partners.
• Ensuring IT function complies with Statutory, SEBI regulations and supporting other functions in doing so.
