Job Description

  • Contribute in research projects through advanced characterisation and experiments on metallic coatings
  • Understand the operation of advanced surface characterization equipment, e.g., Raman spectroscopy, Kelvin probe, GDOES, Confocal laser scanning microscope,
    Wetting and surface tension etc. following standards
  • Inspect, diagnose and repair for all assigned research facilities
  • Understanding the research requirements and upgradation and utilization of existing equipment accordingly
  • Update, maintain and follow the Lab Safety Plan/Manual
  • Training to technical assistant and colleagues for surface characterization processes and equipment
  • Managing of data/information generated from experimental and characterisation data and inventory

    Skills

    Refractory Material Lab Testing and its interpretation,
    Refractory Performance and Failure Analytical

    Experience in the area of refractory maintenance & testing is desirable

    Other details

    B-Tech / BE in Ceramics Engineering
