Job Description / ResponsibilitiesThe selected consultant will be required to support for

Design and Developme nt of Automotive Lighting from concept to production
Reliability techniques awareness.
Design aspects for automotive lighting, G D&T analysis of assembly.
To ensure system level design compatibility, robustness of interfacing components
Automotive Lighting System design
Should know the regulatory / certification requirements like CMVR, AIS, and ECE etc.
To work with cross-functional team to achieve the required functional / cost / weight / timing & quality objectives.
Clamping, brackets design for the Lightin g components.
Info fitment drawing preparation.
Benchmarking, Cost Reduction, DFMEA, DFA, DFS, DFM.
Support for making prototy pe vehicles, pre-production & serial production vehicles.
Data ManagementPreferred Skills & Knowledge
Proficient in Computer aided analytical tools to assist in a faster, better and cost effective design. CAD – CATIA V5 hands on experience is required.
Sh ould know the regulatory / certification requirements like CMVR, AIS, and ECE etc.
Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with cross-functional team to achieve the required functional / cost / weight /timing & quality objectives.
Knowledge and fundam entals of engineering BOM.
Knowledge about Plastic Parts & moulding
Working knowledge of problem solving techniques and design o ptimization.
Knowledge of verification, testing, regulatory and validation requirements
Knowledge of 3D CATIA Part/ Surfacing/ S heetmetal/ 2D drawing creation.
Knowledge of PLM system.
