Facilitate development of Long Term Plan and Annual Business Plan of Tata Steel by providing insights through tracking and analysis of Business Environment, Macro Economy
and Competitive Intelligence (assumptions, competition, optimisation of resources etc). It will also include formulation of the Apex Business Objectives & Strategies (BO&S), which
will cascade into Divisional BO&S This will require a deep understanding of TSL Value Chain and internal context and involve working closely with Senior Leadership and other
Internal Stakeholders.
Skills
Facilitate formulation of Annual Business Plan, delivering responsibilities as a SPOC of respective area-facilitation in Finalising Agenda, engaging in discussions
with Divisions/Business regarding the Content of the Review, Note to be put up to the Chair regarding focus areas or decision points, Key KPIs to be monitored at
the Apex level on a quarterly basis as an outcome of the review, preparation of MOM and closing of ATR points. Facilitation in preparation of Board Presentation –
playing a major role
Formulation of Major Assumptions, ABP Tracker, Tracking of Actuals with reasons for variance, Revisit of Assumptions as and when required, effecting Scenario
Analysis
Preparation of Apex Level Business Objectives & Strategies emanating out of the Current Year Annual Business Plan and ensuring cascade and alignment of the
same into Divisional BO&S. Quarterly 4 Student Analysis (of BO&S), reasons for variance and Action Plans/ Enablers as corrective measures to be developed at
Apex Level- this will be taken as input for formulation of ABP for next year
Facilitate formulation of Long Term Plan for TSL, Facilitate LTP projects Identification, Categorization, Prioritisation & Review, Periodic updation & review of Long Term
Projects, execution of LTPs in Agile way MIS (specific areas where the person is a SPOC)
Assessment of Risk Exposure based on TSL Strategic Actions- Detailed analysis of risks emanating from non-achievement of Strategic Objectives and Strategic
Enablers.
Development of Opportunity Heat Map based on Long Term Objectives, Assumptions and Scenarios
Response to specific queries/specific Assignments by Senior Leadership within stipulated timelines
