Role – SAP PIPO

Required Skill Set -SAP PI/ PO

Desired Experience Range – 3.4 to 7yrs

Location of Requirement – Jamshedpur/Kolkata

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Must have strong working experience in SAP PI/PO development and support related activities
• Hands on experience with PI/PO integration technologies in the following areas: Service Repository and Integration Directory; Data mappings, XSLT mappings, EDI and XML communications, Proxies, interface definitions, and XSDs; Configuration and implementation of PI/PO adapter types (IDoc, RFC, JDBC, File, SOAP, WS, JMS, HTTP, REST and Proxy); Configuration, design, development, Message monitoring; adapter logs, adapter engine status, communication channels etc.
• ALE configuration, Partner profiles, PI/PO Interface Enhancements, error processing, troubleshooting messages.
• Manage technical design, development, testing and implementation activities for all Interface objects.
• Strong knowledge in Mappings -Graphical, JAVA and XSLT
• Production system Monitoring and Implement and maintain change and release management process.
• Experience with Proxy interfaces and AIF monitoring to integrate SAP and other legacy applications.
• Good experience on SAP landscape/environment that supports core business functions (e.g. finance, procurement, customer relationship management) in accordance with SAP and industry best practices.

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

1. Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.
2. Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project.
3. Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code, test and debug programs.
4. Develop code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
5. Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions
6. Engage other technical team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions.
7. Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical architecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA’s.
8. Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well as providing on call support as required by the team.
9. Undertake performance-tuning activities for SAP integration activities.
10. Mentor and coach junior developers/consultants if required.
11. Provide consulting services on new and existing initiatives.
