Roles and Responsibilities

1. Maintain the corporate credit policy, recommend changes in the credit policy to senior management, create a credit scoring model and manage customer credit files
2. Carry out a risk assessment of lending proposals and forward it to the Risk committee/NCM for approval
3. Meet with developers and builders to understand the viability of their projects, in terms of project scale, progress and financials
4. Provide inputs towards the structuring of the deal, ensuring compliance with internal risk and external regulatory requirements
5. Carry out an analysis of the balance sheet and recent financial results of developers and their organizations
6. Carry out background research on the project, the developer and the regional market, highlighting any negative reports so as to ensure the quality of lending portfolio
7. Monitor statutory real estate guidelines and assess any relevant information from these sources
8. Effectively engage with cross functional teams (Operations, Risk etc) to understand and contribute to overall processes across locations
