Role: Technical Sales Specialist / Business Development – Industrial Sales

Location: Jharkhand / Kolkata – East

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual with a proven track record and a passion for selling technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a background in Business Development, Technical Sales, or Key Account Management, particularly in Core Process Industries such as Metals & Mining, Power Plants, and Chemicals.

Preferred Background:

  • Industrial sales experience preferably from Automation, Pumps, Motors, Gearboxes, Bearings, Lubricants, and Power Transmission products Condition Monitoring Services Background

Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales and meet targets outlined in the business plan.
  • Manage customers within a defined territory/geographic location.
  • Identify sales opportunities by understanding customer needs, scanning the market, and following up on potential leads.
  • Directly manage Key Account(s) in alignment with company guidelines, understanding customer needs, and promoting Sensoteq’s product portfolio.
  • Develop an understanding of customer organizations and decision-making processes.
  • Identify current and future customer service requirements through rapport building with existing and potential customers.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products or services.
  • Collaborate with customers and engineers to assess needs and determine requirements.
  • Prepare cost estimates and financial business cases for each sales opportunity.
  • Successfully align customer pain points/requirements with proposed solutions.
  • Communicate client needs effectively to the technical/R&D team for product enhancements.
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence.
