To do welding (preparation, cutting, welding) and follow Welding procedures as per WPS in our fabrication plant.

Skills Required

• MAG Welding Process skill
• Knowledge on Defects and how to do rework.
• Basic knowledge on parent and filler materials
• Ability to train co-welders.
• Knowledge in welding consumables and materials.
• Knowledge to understand the welding symbols
• Ability to work independently and improve the process
• Ability to Identify the defect and eliminate in the process
• Heavy Fabrication Companies
• Caterpillar, Komatsu, Kobelco, Wheels India, BHEL, Alstom, L&T

Roles & Responsibilities

• Zero defects product – Welding
• Prepare the material for welding as per WPS and standard.
• Maintain the workstation clean and tidy.
• Maintain the welding machine and welding fixtures.
• Maintain the welding process as per WPS.
• Identify the welding defect and do rework.
• Improve the welding process to reduce the welding defects.
