Procurement & Contract:
Developing and implementing key procurement strategies / contingency plans for general consumables and spares to ensure that plans are aligned with production / project requirements of Mechanical & Electrical items.
Development of alternate products for various critical items through technical discussion with user departments and continuous follow up with product development team.
Finalizing various O & M contracts and successfully managing and reviewing the contracts for getting non interruptive and trouble free services from the agencies.
Implement and control procurement policy and SOP‘s within department and Develop /control SLA‘s with other functions.
Coordination with legal team for finalisation of contract terms and conditions for both direct and indirect spends.
Ability to develop business case for approvals.
Coordination with group companies
Follow/ implement ethical practices
Developing long-term partnerships with suppliers, evaluating day-to-day performance of vendors to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms.
Develop new / alternate suppliers for single source and critical items through market research and references so as to get competitive price and reduce the risk of dependency on single source.
