We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Trainer to join our team in the role of Automotive Service Technician Trainer. As a Master Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs and developing training materials to enhance the knowledge and skills of our automotive service technicians. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance will be instrumental in ensuring the highest level of technical proficiency among our workforce.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs for automotive service technicians, covering various aspects of diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
• Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on activities.
• Conduct training sessions both in the classroom and on the shop floor, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and practical application of skills.
• Assess the training needs of technicians and tailor programs accordingly to address skill gaps and industry advancements.
• Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology, trends, and best practices, and incorporate them into training programs.
• Collaborate with the management team to identify training priorities and develop long-term training strategies.
• Provide ongoing support and mentoring to technicians, offering guidance and assistance when needed.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, making necessary improvements for continuous enhancement.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, evaluations, and certifications.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an Automotive Service Technician, with a strong background in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
• Proven track record in delivering training programs and developing training materials.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including electrical, mechanical, and computerized components.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple training projects and meet deadlines.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in the automotive industry.
• Certifications such as Master Trainer/Trainer from ASDC are highly desirable.
• Previous experience in a training role or teaching/instructional background is an advantage.
