Job responsibilities

a. Overall objective of the role

To ensure safe working environment by Formulating & implementation of procedures of respective areas and bring positive changes to enhance safety in his work area in the endeavor to achieve zero harm.
To Plan, review and help Head Mfg. Assembly to achieve the ABP targets of Production, Productivity and quality.
To develop people by training on Mechanical assembly practices, on SOPs, by encouraging them to participate in different improvement initiatives etc.
To ensure proper maintenance of all quality records. Generating process related reports & learning from failure and will be responsible to face different audits as and when conducted.
Assess resource requirements and make available/develop the same for current & future requirements and plan for short time and long time requirements.

b. Major tasks & responsibilities

To meet the production plan of his area.
To do RFD in system of all DUs he is responsible as per plan
To initiate improvement activities of his section SGA/ ASPIRE/SHIKHAR
Produced jobs must comply to desired quality
Ensure safety of man and material of his area and job. SOP/5S-VWM/ensure work permit.
Bill certification of vendors
Safety Training and skill development of the people working under him.
Issues resolution with respective sections
To offer each PO in SAP after completion of the job.
Record keeping of all relevant activities and produce the same during audits
