Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated and experienced full stack web development mentor to join our team and inspire, guide, and empower individuals to achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals. As a full stack web development mentor, you will leverage your expertise, insights, and passion for mentoring to support, mentor, and develop individuals, foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and growth, and make a positive impact on their lives and careers
Responsibilities:
Course Facilitation:
- Lead live online sessions to facilitate discussion, answer questions, and provide guidance to students enrolled in Full-Stack web development courses.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters active participation and collaboration among students.
Guidance and Mentorship:
- Provide expert guidance, support, and mentorship to aspiring or junior full stack web developers, helping them navigate challenges, overcome obstacles, and achieve their learning and career goals. Assess individual learning needs, strengths, areas for improvement, and create personalized development plans, milestones, and objectives.
Technical Expertise:
- Share your expertise, knowledge, and best practices in full stack web development, including front-end and back-end technologies, frameworks, tools, methodologies, and industry trends. Review, evaluate, and provide feedback on code quality, architecture, design patterns, performance optimization, security practices, and other technical aspects of web development projects.
Skill Development:
- Facilitate skill development, hands-on learning experiences, coding exercises, projects, and workshops to enhance technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and software development capabilities.
Feedback and Assessment:
- Provide constructive feedback, actionable insights, code reviews, and performance evaluations to help mentees identify strengths, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth. Monitor progress, track milestones, and assess outcomes to ensure alignment with learning objectives, project requirements, and industry expectations.
Qualifications:
- BACHELOR’S Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields; or equivalent work experience and professional certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Previous experience in online teaching, mentoring, or coaching is preferred.
