Position Title : Commercial Head – Kraft papers manufacturing plant

Job Overview

The Commercial Head is responsible for managing and optimizing the commercial functions of the Kraft papers manufacturing plant. This includes overseeing Marketing Sales, purchase, stores, and general administration to ensure the efficient operation of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketing Sales Management:

Develop and implement Marketing sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.Identify and explore new business opportunities and develop markets to ensure Zero inventory of finished Products. Build and maintain relationships with key customers.

• Purchase Management:

Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective timely procurement of raw materials.Monitor market trends and changes in the industry to inform procurement decisions.

• Stores Management:

Oversee inventory control and management to ensure optimal stock levels. Implement efficient storage and logistics practices.Develop and maintain inventory tracking systems to minimize losses and wastage. Collaborate with production and logistics teams to streamline the supply chain.

• Administration:

Provide leadership and direction to the administrative team. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Manage budgeting and financial reporting for the commercial department.I mplement and improve administrative processes to enhance overall efficiency.

• Reporting:

Prepare and present regular reports on sales, purchases, and other relevant commercial metrics to higher management.Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, or a related field. MBA is often preferred.
• Proven experience of atleast 5-7 years in a senior management role within the Kraft paper manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of sales, purchase, stores, and administration processes.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.

The Commercial Head plays a pivotal role in driving the overall success of the Kraft papers manufacturing plant by ensuring seamless coordination and optimization of commercial functions.
