Position Summary: We’re looking for a VTEX Back-end developer. Your job will consist of developing e-commerce sites for our customers based on VTEX, with the following roles & responsibilities: Roles & Responsibilities: • Create VTEX Apps, services, and integrations • Work closely with the architectural team • Code is driven by performance, securing, and quality • Use a continuous improvement approach, refactoring code when needed and reducing technical debt • Keep the project’s documentation up-to-date • Use SAFe (Agile), GitFlow, and Pivotree’s CI/CD workflow in all the development process • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and have a proactive attitude • Support the QA team during the testing process • Keep your JS knowledge up-to-date and interested to become a Full Stack Developer Key Skills and Competencies: • Experience with NodeJs • Best Practices for Securing APIs • Experience with VTEX APIs • Experience with VTEX IO (Admin Apps, Services, and Masterdata) • Experience with GraphQL • Experience with TypeScript • Experience with Jest • Asynchronous Programming • Experience working with Agile Methodologies • Degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology, Graphic Design or equivalent • Good verbal and written communication in English Nice to Have: • VTEX Certification • DevOps concepts • Experience with UX/UI design and Tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, XD or similar • Experience with modern development tools like Babel and Webpack Pivotree is an equal opportunity employer.
