Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Executive at PhonePe in Sitamarhi, your responsibilities will include:

  • Merchant Acquisition: You will be responsible for onboarding new merchants based on an understanding of transaction volume and pattern in the assigned geography. This involves identifying potential merchants, pitching PhonePe’s services, and successfully onboarding them.
  • Smart Speaker and Loan Sales: You will promote and sell PhonePe’s smart speaker and loan products to both newly onboarded and already onboarded merchants. This includes understanding the features and benefits of these products and effectively communicating them to potential customers.
  • Already Onboarded Merchant Visit: You will conduct visits to already onboarded merchants to maintain relationships, address any issues or concerns they may have, and explore opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services.
  • Relationship Management: You will engage with identified merchants to strengthen relationships and increase their engagement with PhonePe. This may involve providing support, resolving issues, and introducing merchants to more value-added products and services.
  • Competition Mapping: You will study, map, and report on competition activity in your assigned geography. This information will be used to develop strategies to respond to competition and stay ahead in the market.

Your role will be crucial in driving merchant acquisition, sales, and relationship management to achieve PhonePe’s business objectives in Sitamarhi.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in coordinating and delegating tasks
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive performance
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of payment systems and financial services is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum two years of experience & only Local candidate preferred
