Job Description:

The Mechanical AutoCAD Designer is responsible for creating detailed drawings and layouts for mechanical components and systems using AutoCAD software. Collaborating closely with engineers and other team members, they interpret design specifications and technical drawings to produce accurate and precise drafts. Their primary duties include generating 2D and 3D models of mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and proficiency in AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

Drafting and Designing: The primary responsibility of a Mechanical AutoCAD Designer is to create 2D and 3D models of mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems.

Collaboration: The Mechanical AutoCAD Designer collaborates closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand design objectives and requirements. 

Interpretation of Drawings: This role involves interpreting complex engineering drawings and technical specifications to produce accurate drafts.

Documentation: Creating comprehensive technical documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), assembly instructions, and product specifications, is an integral part of the role.

Project Management: Managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks based on project timelines and requirements is part of the role.

Qualifications

Required: Diploma In Mechanical Engineering

Certification: AutoCAD

Desirable: B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: Minimum of 1 Year
