About the team : Drives the User Growth and Market penetration agenda for Paytm in India
About the Role: The individual will be leading a team which owns and drives the User growth and Market share in the designated cities leveraging on-ground intelligence, planning and execution excellence.
Expectations / Requirements:
- Ideal years of experience: 10+ years
- Strong background of go-to-market and sales (preferably from FMCG/Hyperlocal/e-commerce background or Internet/marketplace company)
- Candidates should be well versed with the geography, user preference, demand drivers, merchant ecosystem etc
- Should understand levers of driving user acquisition and P/L accountability
- Must have exposure to working in the specified state – Adept on Consumer and Channel nuances; Trade Marketing, Brand activation
- Has mandatory exposure to working in the specified State as RSM/other related roles – Adept at Consumer and Channel nuances; Trade Marketing, Brand activation
- Building and leading on-ground workforce will be beneficial
- Demonstrating execution excellence, ability to structure the localized observations effectively and help design initiatives to maximize impact
- Individuals who have grown up the ranks in the system and carry extensive execution capability to be preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and Deployment:
- Bring strong Regional and local insights to design plan, initiatives and undertake activations
- Strong stakeholder leadership and coordination with central teams (Marketing, product, sales, insights) to build and refine strategy
- Work with teams to drive on-ground initiatives and activities
- Drive initiatives to increase user on platform, share of transactions (online and offline), propel Paytm market share and brand penetration
- Develop plan for BTL activation of users
- Execution Excellence:
- Responsible to drive user growth and market share in their geographies
- Deploy and track visibility asset execution across the geography with the City Heads
- Lead a team to drive deployment of merchandize in store ; creating an ecosystem of brilliant execution every store everyday
- Competition tracking and sharing comprehensive feedback
- Work with 3rd Party Audit team and Lead to track and monitor deployment and drive in-store merchandising
