Job Description
The role is that an ASM for Jharkhand – the person should have experience in the state.
The chosen candidate would be reporting into the regional head and be responsible for the following:
- Primary & Secondary target achievement of the area
- Monthly sales planning & forecasting
- Channel Management
- Alignment with the Annual Operating Plan
- Competition tracking & making proactive plans to counter the new entrants
- Allocate manpower in different areas depending upon the individual capabilities
- Mentor, motivate and guide team members ensuring sales – business generation and achieving budgeted figures, and activity ratio on monthly basis
- Training subordinates to develop requisite skills; conducting training on products, selling skills, lead prospecting and closing skills
- Experience as a Area Sales Manager
- Ability to implement sales strategies
- Able to hit performance KPIs
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Familiar with sales force and MS Office
- Good leadership and organizational ability
- Problem-solving skills
Profile
- The successful applicant should be a BBA or equivalent, having at least 2 years of experience as Area Sales Manager in Personal Care, color cosmetics preferred and an overall understanding of the different segments and channels in India.
- He/she should have extensive and relevant work experience in Jharkhand location.
