Job description
Sales and Application Engineer
Achieving sales targets and preparation of sales forecasts – Retention, Development & Project Sales. Offer technical support to customers. Visit customers, develop and maintain customer relations, attend & report on customer complaints. Preparation and follow up on sales offers.
Qualifications
- 6-7 Years experience in Cutting Tools Industries.
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineer
- Local Market knowledge of Jamshedpur region
Main Responsibilities
- Achieve customer-wise budgeted / targeted sales and profitability levels through providing total solutions directly as well as through Direct or Marketing Partner.
- Responsible for Customer and Territory management, which include regular servicing, providing technical support, training, entertainment.
- Pro-active & become Customer’s Productivity Partner.
- Ambassador of MTTL by living our Success Factors.
- Responsible for sales by application proving of cutting tools and Solutions to end customers and interact with both Customers and Marketing Partners.
- Provide complete technical services to all Customers and distributors and ensure all products are used in a profitable way for the customer and in the correct manner. Thoroughly analyze the Tools & provide quick techno-commercial solution to customer.
- Achieve sales target for the customers, area & region allocated, by establishing & convincing customer with features, advantages & benefits of cutting tools, by Machining & Process Engineering knowledge.
- Maintaining and developing both the customer base and contacts within existing customers.
- Identify Potential customers & work closely with them to develop new customers.
- Identify potential Marketing Partners and advice Sales Manager an appointment to ensure all areas in the region are adequately covered.
- Develop, Train, Guide & Review the Marketing Partner’s team for Business Development.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the management.
