Supervise daily workflow, schedules, activities, and assignments of security staff. Participate in evaluating staff performance; work with employees to correct deficiencies; implement discipline procedures. Prepare and conduct training for new hires and current staff on a variety of security topics. Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training security staff. Investigate loss events and compile data for accurate reporting. Develop and implement safety and security protocols for all District campuses. Perform regular walk-throughs and security inspections of campuses. Assist campus administration in developing security solutions for security deficiencies. Serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders (i.e., District staff, community members and public service organizations).
