Mediversal Healthcare, a leading hospital network based in Patna, Bihar, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the accounting team, ensure accurate and timely accounting entries in Tally, and prepare comprehensive data for management presentations. This is a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
– Supervise the accounting team across all three units.
– Train, mentor, and provide guidance to junior accountants.
– Ensure the team adheres to the organization’s policies and procedures.
Accounting Operations:
– Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
– Ensure all accounting entries are accurately recorded in Tally.
– Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Financial Reporting:
– Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
– Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
– Compile and present financial data and analysis during management meetings.
Compliance and Audit:
– Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
– Coordinate with external auditors and prepare necessary documentation for audits.
– Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
– Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
– Monitor budget variances and report significant issues to management.
– Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
System Improvement:
– Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new accounting software features to enhance efficiency.
– Stay updated with the latest developments in accounting practices and standards.

Qualifications:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA/CS/CMA Inter qualified will be preferred.
– Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Skills:
– Proficiency in Tally ERP.
– Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Additional Requirements:
– High level of integrity and attention to detail.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
– Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
