Making an impact. What will you do?

  • In this role, you will be responsible to drive the profit growth through superior account management and contract leverage and also accountable for the development of the account strategies for major customers in the region
  • Further, you will be responsible to communicate strategic objectives of the customer plans to internal stakeholders and ensure tactical alignment. Also maximize business performance of the Onsite business within the portfolio, by leading the development and implementation of comprehensive customer plans, working with operations, distribution, and other relevant functions to minimize cost of production and delivery
  • Additionally, you will ensure contract renewals (and new contracts) are negotiated on a timely basis, bringing in functional expertise from OPD as appropriate, for example when significant new capital, such as a new plant, is needed
  • Proactively participating with OPD on business development at incumbent sites, contributes to the business development process by ensuring that the value of local customer relationships and local strategic issues are incorporated into the development of investment opportunities is a part of your responsibility
  • Furthermore, you will facilitate the Business Development “Teaming process” during development of opportunities at existing major customers and to lead or play a major role in the commercialization process at new and existing major customers
  • Moreover, you are in charge of developing and managing the local customer relationship with major onsite customer accounts in the region and developing a broad range of contacts within each customer

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

  • You have a degree in engineering and operations. Applications experience is added advantage with four to seven (4-7) years’ experience in technical sales, commercial development, business management in a related industry
  • You own high level commercial skills and acumen
  • You have an ability to understand and articulate complex HyCo and large ASU schemes (as applicable to the portfolio) and diagnostic skills related to the customer portfolio (demand side)
  • In addition, you need an advanced negotiation capability with superior contract management skills combined with exceptional customer relationship abilities
