Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the largest financial institution and life insurance organization in India. It was formed by an Act of Parliament, viz. LIC Act, 1956, with a capital contribution of Rs. 5 crore from the Government of India. LIC has 8 zonal offices, 109 divisional offices, 2048 fully computerized branches, and 992 satellite offices in rural areas. Their mission is to be a trans-nationally competitive financial conglomerate of significance to societies and pride of India. They offer more than 40 different plans catering to the differing needs of different segments of society such as basic insurance plans, term assurance plans, pension plans, etc.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Salesperson. The Salesperson will be responsible for promoting and selling LIC’s financial products and services to prospective customers, as well as maintaining lasting relationships with existing clients. The Salesperson will be expected to meet or exceed the sales targets and objectives set by the company. They will also be required to gather customer feedback and market intelligence to inform investment and sales strategy.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
- Proven track record of sales success and meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of financial and investment products and services
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field is preferred
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred
