The Role
Your Role and Responsibilities :

Performs varying degrees of problem determination and resolution of desktop hardware and software problems through the effective use of available technical resources, per contracted service level agreements.

May also perform installs, moves, adds and change (IMAC) activities, as well as data backup and restore on certain accounts, for clients.

Resolves problems and performs IMACs within Service Level Agreement objectives (SLA), and completes all related administrative duties.

Understands the local and regional infrastructure and key contacts in the other competencies, i.e. network team, server admin, etc.,.

In order to ensure that the proper team is aware of, and taking action on the problem.
Who You Are
Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
-
Have minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managing DWS support operations in corporate environment.

The Deskside Support Lead manages support operation for a varied set of user support services in multi-vendor, multi-protocol complex client environments.
-
The individual interacts frequently with clients, vendors and management to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
-
Specifically, the Lead is primarily focused on for Key VVIP/VIP user ensuring their team provides delivery of onsite support for incidents, requests for service, administration and project activities on client accounts.

It includes ensuring that the services provided to individual clients meet the terms and conditions of contracts achievement of SLA objectives achievement of a high level of client satisfaction and also ensuring that project tasks assigned meet time and client satisfaction objectives.

Working Multiple service lines of Digital Workplace Services, such as service desk, remote takeover, Mac/iMac Support, Network Basic troubleshooting & working on Switches, Patch Management via SCCM/WSUS or Tivoli, Knowledge on application packaging & distribution, imaging & MDM, Collaboration support, deskside services, etc.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise :

Have good understanding of service management practices preferably ITIL V3 or V4.

Have working knowledge of both waterfall and agile methods of managing project activities.

Have good analytical skills ability to churn data and find tends and signals using basic statistical tools i.e. Power BI, Service Now, Excels Pivots/VLOOKUP etc.

Have good verbal and written communication skills able to articulate team’s ideas and recommendation in simple and easy way to customers.
