Looking for committed and dynamic candidates to be the BI Analysts for a prestigious new project.

Candidates must be willing to travel and be posted onsite (outside Kerala) for Project requirements during the duration of the project.

Experience: 2 years+ in Oracle BI (Oracle Analytics Server)

Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs to technical specifications
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. MicroStrategy)
• Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
• Develop and update technical documentation

Communication

• Good Written & Oral communication skills in English & Hindi
• Ability to communicate clearly and articulately with very Senior Officers
• Reporting to Project Manager
• Project escalation to senior management as and when needed
• Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential

Stakeholder Management

• Work with the project team and stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements
• Requirement Gathering and Analysis Skills
• Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems parallel to overall business strategies
• Construct workflow charts and diagrams
• Obtain crucial information from meetings with many stakeholders and generating meaningful reports
• Analyse and study system capabilities
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends
• Should have strong ability to understand the requirements and develop visualization reports using BI tool that are simple, consumable and actionable.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge in MS Office
• Knowledge in UML Diagrams
• Knowledge of networks, databases, servers etc.
• Knowledge of SDLCs, Microservice Architecture etc.
• Good working knowledge in working with Business Intelligence (BI) Tools (Oracle Analytics Server Preferred)
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining preferred
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework is preferred

Educational Qualification

• B.Tech./B.E./MCA or equivalent degree from a Govt. recognized college/ University

Experience

Should have at least 1 year working experience on Business Intelligence tool (Preferably Oracle Analytics Server)
