We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for customer acquisition and expansion in the Indian market, with a focus on both business growth and effective management of the delivery team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new client accounts, targeting potential vendors for IT/Non-IT staffing business in India. Secure contract staffing requirements and successfully fill positions. Maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the Indian recruitment life cycle and staffing practices.
- Arrange meetings between client decision-makers and the company’s practice leaders/principals.
- Cultivate and maintain productive business relationships with clients, independently managing the staffing business and overseeing the team.
- Stay updated on the latest technological advancements and their business applications.
- Handle end-to-end business development, including IT/Account management functions.
- Establish long-term relationships with direct clients and system integrators, meeting their consulting resource needs and contributing to their growth plans and strategies.
- Collaborate with the team to develop proposals tailored to client needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Provide high-level consulting to client executives, addressing their challenges and demonstrating the value of collaboration with our company.
- Monitor competition and market developments, strategize accordingly, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Prepare proposals based on client requirements.
- Negotiate sales deals and finalize agreement signups.
- Having experience in securing clients for third-party payroll will be advantageous for this role.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in business development for staffing services in the Indian market.
- Established relationships with Tier-1 partners/end clients and a proven track record of successful placements with them.
- Results-driven, target-oriented, and able to thrive in a high-pressure environment. Demonstrated ability to multitask and self-motivate.
- Capable of working independently and managing the entire placement process to achieve revenue targets.
- Expert-level technical recruitment skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and related products.
