Husk Power Systems Hiring for Lead engineer – New Initiatives at Patna, Bihar, India

We design, build and operate the lowest cost hybrid (solar and biomass) power plant and distribution network in India and Africa. To date, Husk has provided electricity to over 15,000 homes and business, reducing 95,000 tonnes of CO2. Our aim is to provide 30MW of power to 225,000 customers by 2025 and save 350,000 tonnes of CO2 each year.

Job Description

• Co-coordinating with a large engineering team.
• Responsible for reviewing new technologies.
• Responsible for coordinating with the operations and engineering team.
• Coordination with vendors and partners and identifying new vendors and partners to initiative new projects.
• Responsible for verifying the overall system design and objective of the project with finalization between the internal team and the vendors.
• Responsible for definition and management of QA/Qc process and validation steps for the success of the project.
• Responsible for and documentation and finalizing the mass scale deployment plan for successful POC projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline from a renowned institution.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in management of system design, projects and new initiatives.
• Hands on with Microsoft office especially MS excel.
• Experience with renewable energy power systems, productive use machines.
• Good understanding of solar inverters, solar system, power generation and electrical machines.
• Good knowledge of electricity generation, distribution, energy meters, tariff meters.
• Familiarity with basic logic and control.
