Job Overview: As a Video Editor at [The Wedding Saga], you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw wedding footage into captivating and emotionally resonant videos. You will collaborate closely with our photography and videography teams to ensure seamless storytelling through your editing expertise. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve is essential to excel in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality wedding videos that align with the company’s artistic and creative vision.
• Collaborate with the photography and videography teams to understand the narrative and emotional aspects of each wedding project.
• Review, select, and organize the best shots to create compelling and engaging video sequences.
• Enhance video quality by adjusting colors, lighting, and audio to maintain consistency and visual excellence.
• Apply visual effects, transitions, titles, and graphics to enhance the overall production value of the videos.
• Continuously explore new editing techniques, trends, and software updates to stay updated with industry standards.
• Ensure efficient file management, organization, and backup of project files to maintain a streamlined workflow.
• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative concepts for wedding video projects.
• Incorporate feedback from clients, photographers, and team members to refine videos until they meet or exceed expectations.
• Maintain a consistent level of quality and attention to detail while meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, ideally within the wedding or event industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics to create emotionally resonant videos.
• Solid knowledge of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and an eye for visual composition.
• Strong organizational skills for efficient project management and file organization.
• Ability to adapt to different styles and genres to meet client preferences.
• A portfolio showcasing previous wedding video editing work is required.
