Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of banking professionals to achieve unit goals and objectives. Provide coaching and support to team members to enhance their performance and professional development.
Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the unit, including customer service, cash management, account opening and maintenance, loan processing, and other banking activities. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and bank policies and procedures.
Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and expand the unit’s customer base. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling bank products and services to existing customers.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess the unit’s performance. Analyze trends and variances, and take corrective actions as necessary to achieve targets and improve efficiency.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing personalized banking solutions and addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks within the unit. Implement controls and procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the unit’s budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective operations. Monitor expenses and revenue generation to achieve financial targets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is must.
Minimum of [X] years of experience in banking, with a proven track record of success in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and operations.
