Job Summary:

We are seeking a Room Service Order Taker to join our team at a hotel/resort. As a Room Service Order Taker, you will be responsible for taking orders from guests for room service, ensuring accurate orders are delivered promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls from guests requesting room service.
• Take accurate orders from guests, ensuring that all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions guests may have about the menu.
• Enter guest orders into the computer system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and room service staff to ensure that orders are prepared and delivered promptly.
• Communicate any delays or issues with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ensure that all room service areas are clean and well-stocked with supplies. • Assist with other tasks in the room service department as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hospitality diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
