Our leading client from the IT industry is looking for a Senior UX Developer. UX Developers are important to both the customer experience as well as overall website success. Increasingly, companies are seeking UX Developers to help improve sales and build their business.

Tasks

• Synthesize UI best practices with user needs to create reusable design components that are easy to use, visually appealing and support products ranging from consumer-facing booking websites to data-intensive business applications;
• Design and develop responsive solutions using HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript;
• Collaborate closely with the design team on requirements, visual and interaction design and QA;
• Provide guidance to teams adopting the design language;
• Update and maintain documentation related to the design language;
• Champion the adoption of the design language;
• Work closely with user experience designers to create stunning UI designs;
• A solid foundation in typography, layout, and design;
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images;
• Responsible for the creative design of the site, ease of searching specific information, building intuitive dashboards and reports and strong, easy links between pages;
• Deliver an outstanding user experience providing an exceptional and intuitive application design;
• Optimize existing UI designs and plan and implement new designs;
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features;
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently;

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field;
• Strong experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript and proven ability to write clean, elegant, reusable code is a must;
• Strong experience with cross-platform responsive design and best practices is a must;
• Familiarity with Javascript frameworks (particularly React) is preferred;
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS preferred);
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices is preferred;
• Strong communication skills, including written and verbal;
• Portfolio of UI/UX development to be showcased if possible;
• Strong knowledge and command over designing and wireframe tools such as marvel app, Figma & Adobe Illustrator;
• Awareness of Industry standards and best practices(such as style guide, optimization and versioning) to be followed;
• Dedication and passion towards the role as it is directly linked to customer delight and therefore, the company’s success;
