FENG GROUP Hiring for SQL database administrator (Junior) Job at Patna

One of our leading clients from the Aviation industry is looking for a Junior SQL database administrator. He/she is responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems. Their main goal is to ensure the availability and consistent performance of various corporate applications.

Tasks

• Understanding operational requirements and delivering within required timeframes;
• Provide competitive flexible and variable pricing that allows Customers to scale up and down on the various components of the solution;
• Configure and maintain Azure IaaS Virtual Machines Azure Application and Networking Services to support Cloud DB operation;
• Managing update manager for patch management;
• Configure and manage backup and restore policy;
• Experience in migrating infra services and Applications from On-Prem to Azure;
• Maintain Blueprint policies to keep the environment in security compliance;
• A holistic understanding of IT infrastructure includes server storage network database systems DR or business recovery and continuity practices;
• Maintain Azure Cloud Services in accordance with Security and Standards;

Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer science or related field;
• Knowledge of a SQL Server DBA or similar role;
• Knowledge of MY SQL Server Administration experience is required;
• Excellent knowledge of Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO);
• Experience with backups restores and recovery models;
• strong hands-on experience in integrating multiple databases like Oracle SQL Server;
• Experience with using IT service management tools like service now;
• Execute change control quality risk management and communications throughout the project;
• Collaborate with internal and customers for troubleshooting incidents and adhere to critical incident procedures;
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills;
• Team player;
• Good time-management skills;
• Great interpersonal and communication skills;
